This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
This website is a company presentation. We do not run an online shop and we do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We use one strictly necessary item in your browser's localStorage and – only with your consent – Google Analytics cookies. If you choose to display the map, Google Maps may also store its cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ekosys_cookie_consent |
Strictly necessary. Remembers your choice in the cookie banner (Accept / Decline) so it is not shown again. Stored in localStorage, not as a browser cookie. | This website | Until browser data is cleared |
_ga |
Analytics, only with consent. Used by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors for traffic statistics. | 2 years | |
_ga_YTNSV2WQ6Z |
Analytics, only with consent. Used by Google Analytics to keep the state of a visit. | 2 years | |
Google cookies (e.g. NID) |
Only if you click "Show Google map". Set by Google within the map, e.g. to remember settings. We have no influence on their content. | Set by Google, typically up to 6 months |
Google Analytics only starts after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or leave the banner unanswered, no analytics cookies are stored. We only look at aggregated statistics. The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
The Google map on our homepage only loads after you click "Show Google map". Until then nothing is sent to Google and no Google cookies are stored. Details are in our Privacy Policy and in Google's overview of cookies.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies. Cookies stored by the Google map belong to Google's domain, so we cannot delete them ourselves – you can delete them in your browser settings.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. You can find instructions for managing cookies in the help section of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy, please contact us at office@ekosys.com or +420 724 210 019.
